We have completed testing for the customization and deployment of the tray icon. Now are working on packaging it as a plugin so users can control additional information rendered with the icon.

In my opinion the systray icon requires a set of standard options that most do. First, the option to create a ticket from the PC without having to access any web browser. Second, the systray should show the business name, business icon, as well as the computer name (This helps clients identify the computer when over the phone). Third, a chat option that ties to the ticketing system or a separate chat system. Fourth, tickets coming from this systray should tie important information from the computer to ticket itself. Fifth, the systray icon should be able to display website, support number and knowledge base for self-help if necessary. Separators can be a good option to keep the list organized.
