We’ve had a massive 2024 here at Gorelo with over 300 features, enhancements and bug fixes released along the way 🎉! Our goal this year was to finalize the basic functionality and get the platform to a point where new users could sign-up for a trial. Our recent sign-up page, onboarding wizard and help center allowed us to achieve exactly that! 😁

We have some pretty audacious goals for 2025 — projects, quoting, API, further automation/AI, SLAs, more integrations and so much more!

We’ll also be building out the community side with an official Discord server, regular AMA sessions with Mikel/Huzaif and native way to share scripts/automations/forms/checklists with other Gorelo users!

And a big thank you to our Early Access subscribers for all the awesome feedback 😊

A few releases to finish out the year:

• 🦄 Disk info is now synced and cached every 24 hours — including BitLocker recovery keys

• ✨ Settings - Organization logo requirements have been changed to allow for smaller images

• ✨ Settings - ‘Alias’ on groups has been updated for clarity to ‘Alias for @mention’

• ✨ General - Date picker has been enhanced throughout the platform

• 🐛 Search - Fixed an issue where ‘See more’ was not working outside the Quick tab

• 🐛 Tickets - Fixed an issue where ‘Split into new ticket’ was not working as intended

And a quick recap of some exciting features from 2024 — if you missed them 😋

• 🦄 Invoices - You can now add a Pay Now button to your Invoice PDF Template. This button can link to your native Xero/QuickBooks invoice or to a custom URL such as Benji Pays!

• 🦄 Embedding! Assets, Contacts and Docs can now be embedded into private comments by typing ‘//’. We’ll bring this same functionality to checklists, banners and more in the near future.

• 🦄 Automation engine has been released! Triggers, conditions and actions.

• 🎉 Front-end Restructure has been released! While things might look much the same, there are significant performance and scalability improvements behind the scenes and many quality of life enhancements.

• 🦄 App Catalog allows you to easily select from a list of common apps — Adobe, Chrome, Office and more. ‘Update Only’ option is also available and will keep the app updated if it’s already installed.

• 🦄 Scheduled Tickets! Navigate to Settings → Automation → Scheduled Tickets.

• 🦄 Assets - You can now install a generic agent and then move the asset to the appropriate Client.

• 🦄 Assets - Automatic asset adoption is now possible via WAN IP! Toggle this on via each Uptime check or reach out to us and we’ll do it in bulk :)

• 🦄 Contracts - It’s now possible to configure mapping rules and view pending Dynamic Quantities! This allows you to automatically suggest a product/bundle when a dynamic quantity is detected for a client. Asset Tags, Contact Tags (M365/CIPP) and Pax8 Subscriptions are supported. This can automate your contract quantity changes, expose missed billing, and reduce new client (and MSP) onboarding significantly!

• 🦄 Contracts - Invoice previews are now available! Click the preview button and download the PDF

• 🦄 Contracts - M365 Security Groups can now be used as Dynamic Quantities to automate your billing!

• 🦄 Assets - MacOS agent is now available in alpha! Basic system info, Bash CLI and ScreenConnect discovery.

• 🦄 Tickets - Global Views are now available! Admins can convert personal Views into Global views for everyone to use.

• 🦄 Clients - Domain info can now be populated automatically when adding or editing a domain (Expiry, Registrant, Registrar etc.)

• 🦄 Tickets - Ticket Timer is now available! Navigate to your Profile (top-right) -> Settings and configure auto-start etc.

• 🦄 Tickets - Email signatures are now removed from inbound public comments to keep things clean and improve Search!

• 🦄 Assets - Custom Assets can now be created! Great for devices where you can’t install an agent — switches, hypervisors etc.
