Automatic emojis in text Undo Permanently

Hi,

Having emojis is definitely an asset, but can you please program is so that if I backspace an emoji it switches it back to the original text and it stays that way? D: to reference D drive is written very often and I have to either write out D drive or use copy-paste/other workarounds to prevent it from going back to being an emoji after backspacing it.

    This is quite frustrating, and I can’t see any reason to use emojis in communications with clients.

      I just noticed this is marked as completed. I was instinctively pressing ctrl-z rather than backspace, which doesn’t fix it. Can we have an option to disable emojis completely?

    Nothing irks me more than when I type something and it turns into an emoji and backspacing deletes it entirely rather than converting it back to text as originally intended. Hopefully this is a quick fix as it would be a welcomed QoL improvement.
