Feature Request

Remote access is one of the most important tools in your day, so we're building our own -- from the ground up.

A next-gen engine that runs straight from the browser (no installs), with a hardware-accelerated pipeline for fast, crisp sessions, region-based routing to keep client data where it belongs, and remote tied directly into your tickets and devices the way only a native tool can.

Owning the whole stack also unlocks the things you've been asking for: client (end-user) remote access, secure temporary access for third parties, and a seamless Quick Connect experience.


(For transparency, the current remote tool got you connected while we built the platform. Now it's time for it to be truly ours.)

    Browser access is the one thing I’ve been waiting for! Maybe Backstage so I can finally drop Connectwise?? One can only hope.

      @Mikel from Gorelo will chat be available directly without having to be in the RMM? this is one thing that drives me insane, having to be open in RMM to chat directly opposed to “within the remote session”

      Would we also have the ability to Open in new tab, or is this the default behaviour?

        Yep, the right-side vertical bar will expand for other tools like Chat, Files, Passwords and more. Not all of these will be there initially though.

        It will open in a new tab by default (the plan is for borderless).

        The ‘L’ is fixed in the real version — thank you for pointing it out though! :)

    Backstage and multiple-session support are what’s keeping me on Connectwise for now.

      Multiple session support — can you clarify that? The current version of Gorelo Connect allows for multiple sessions (multiple RDP users etc.)

      Just want to make sure we cover any gaps with the new version.

          If there are multiple sessions, when you first login it will prompt for it. v2 will support this too btw
 but a nicer UX for it:

    I would love a browser based client for quick access, plus that would be good for end users so I don’t have to explain how to install the Gorelo Connect client first. BUT, browser based clients rarely do a good job of capturing the keyboard, so unless things like Windows Key and Alt-Tab send through properly, I would still use the desktop client for day to day connectivity.

    So far this looks solid in Alpha. The screenconnect mobile app is awesome for when you don’t have your laptop with you. Will the mobile app for remote access be coming soon now that this is in alpha?

      Rather than compliant, can we make it FIPS validated? Or have an option? Would be a step in the right direction for some compliance requirements.
