Expression-based tagging is now available for macOS. Auto-tag assets based on Installed Apps, Installed Services (launchd daemons/agents), Preference Storage, or Asset Name.

Now that we have the tagging and policy structure in place, we can start building macOS checks and plugins :)

Hi mate, policies and custom assets tags are not available for macOS just yet — this will come in the future when we expand on macOS features though :)

Hi @Mikel from Gorelo how’s the progress on this feature? And is there anything the community can do to help you with this? :)

In development right now with a few features in testing on the dev tenant :)

The more we can look,do and see what our Mac fleets are doing the easier our jobs become. Seeing a lot more customers coming through that have Macs in their fleets.

    Partially released!

🦄 macOS Policy Management is now live! You can now configure policy items and distribute asset-level policies for your Mac fleet. We’re starting with the Gorelo Connect plugin and scripts but will soon add more.

Hi Mikel, are we able to patch macs with this feature? I followed the video but I did not have a list of scripts to choose from.

No, not this feature exactly — this is purely the tag and policy structure for macOS which will then allow for check/plugins to be built soon after :)
