One Time Emails

Is there a way to send an email to an external address that isn’t in your contacts or clients? It seems silly to have to create a contact for a onetime use email. Say a vendor that you need a key from for a client. Its not a CC situation. You just want to pop off a quick email but can’t as they are not found in the database(s).
