Set variables in product definition

For many products that are charged monthly/yearly, we want to by default display the term in the description.

Currently we need to do this manually on every item in every contract.

It would be great if we could specify on the product that the description displays the

{{invoice.period}} along with the display preference (for us this would typically be term).
