We’ve integrated with 1Password so you can work with passwords right alongside tickets, assets, docs, and more — while keeping autofill and the full 1Password experience. Best of both worlds: organize and relate items in Gorelo, use 1Password for storage and autofill.

Would like to see keeper integration for this as well

@Mikel from Gorelo any plans for keeper integration?
Mikel from Gorelo
Potentially, but they would need to expand on their API to make this viable.

1Password would have our vote!

Quick update on our Password Manager work. After building and testing the key flows during our PoC across the three providers, 1Password is the only one that currently supports everything we need to ship a secure, reliable experience.

What version of 1Password will we need as an MSP to make things work for us in Gorelo?
Mikel from Gorelo
Any version works but I would recommend the MSP edition:

Does this mean Bitwarden is out?
Mikel from Gorelo
Yes, Bitwarden API/CLI was not capable of what we wanted to achieve here unfortunately.

Ok. thanks for the update. will the structure be similar to what was recommended with Bitwarden? or will each Client in Gorelo need t o be a separate Vault in 1P
Mikel from Gorelo
I will put out a guide for this in the near future but in the meantime…
Gorelo integrates with 1Password via a service account which has access to Vaults you specify.
Vaults in 1Password will govern permissions/visibility — I’d recommend something like Helpdesk, Escalations, Management, Accounts etc.
Groups in Gorelo will be mapped to Vaults in 1Password to give users access to those items from within Gorelo. You would then also give the user access to those same Vaults in 1Password directly.
Gorelo will tag each item with the client name like ‘Clients/Acme Corp’ — this will give you a folder-like structure in 1Password that spans all Vaults the user has access to.

Love the idea, and the use of opensource software makes it much better. I have been a user of bitwarden for the past couple of years and has always served well.
Purple Exoplanet
Definitely keen for this.

This would be awesome…

We use PassPortal which directly integrates with ScreenConnect. I’d be willing to switch to a different password manager… but I wouldn’t want to switch to a password manager that doesn’t have autofill with ScreenConnect.
I’d also like to see local password management that feeds into the password manager instead of a G asset-level custom field.

Now that I’m one of the elite members of the Gorelo Connect trial B-) - I would still very much like to see PassPortal integration so it would work with ScreenConnect and G Connect.
As G Connect matures I may look to drop ScreenConnect and go to Splashtop as our secondary (we currently use Splash to provide end user remote connections for a few clients)

+1 This would be great to have built in to Gorelo
