Seems like a privacy and potential security liability having screenshots of client desktops automatically. This should be something that’s optional rather than default.

After conversations with Huzaif, I’m confident the screenshot is securely managed. However, I do wonder if this would be a HIPAA violation for our customers, depending on the screen they are in. Maybe instead of always showing the screen, have a button so it takes a screenshot at that moment?

I think having a button to request a screenshot “on the fly” makes the most sense and is the best of both worlds. Maybe this feature could be enabled/disabled per client for those that don’t require HIPAA or similar compliance.

It doesn’t matter if it’s securely managed, the taking of the screenshot in the first place is the problem. Make it optional or remove it. I do not want it, it is not useful, and it’s a breach of privacy. If this is not fixed, we will have to switch away from Gorelo
