🎨 Gorelo Redesign (with Light Mode)

Feature Request

We've been adding a ton of features, and now we are redesigning the entire Gorelo platform to tie them all together. This massive update applies our new design language globally to eliminate inconsistencies, improve UX, and deliver a unified, high-density environment — with Light Mode finally built in as a first-class citizen!

    e.g. links to CIPP, Huntress - but making it customisable - icon, link

    Light Mode

    I must be the only person in the IT community who hates dark mode. I struggle to read and navigate properly on anything Dark Mode. A Light mode option would be great!

      In a really bright office, or outside, Dark Mode is so hard to use!

      Hi guys, light mode is currently in progress alongside the the full redesign. Can you please take a look at this and give me your thoughts around colours/contrast etc.

        This looks great to me, I’d use that light theme right now.

        Since you guys are in the middle of this, any thoughts on letting us customize the theme ourselves? Maybe just via JSON like VSCode or other editors do? Or maybe it could be more like the upcoming script library / sharing features where we can upload and share?

          What specifically would you like to customize? We are thinking about exposing the primary highlight as something you could change.

            I guess I’m thinking of themes support, so being able to change the Menu color, tab colors, button colors, status colors etc. for example the way these themes change the vscode ui (not syntax highlighting, but the interface itself): https://vscodethemes.com I’d love to be able to just take a vscode theme (or any similar json theme) and apply it to the overall UI.

            Maybe what I’m talking about would be better suited to custom css like Purple Fries mentioned. Although I guess if you went all in on those, the syntax highlighting could come along too.

            Jumping on this as I like the idea of customisation. For me, simpler options would be fine, Customisation of the top/side banner colour and highlights on the page. Ability to apply a default theme to all users would be nice to apply a subtle bit of company branding with colour.

        Massively more readable. From the phone I think I see a few elements that I’d bump the contrast, but that’s probably a job for custom css.

        The light mode above looks great. Same as “Teal Lynx”..I’d use it right now if it was an option. Can’t fault the screenshot provided.

      Make it 5. If I am on a page with dark mode for more than a few min, and look away, the wall is literally spinning. Horrible headaches too :(

    Sort views by clicking on Column Headings

    Many built in views such as documents do not seem to offer an capability to sort the view . The view lists everything as it was entered. Ability to sort by column ascending / descending in the these views would be useful

    See related tickets to a contact

    Hey I’ve noticed it’s possible to view the tickets related to an asset but not a contact as per below.

    Could we add this in as a feature please?

      In heavy development right now. The majority of lists have been built and tested and we’re working our way through the deeper stuff. The AUE migration took a bit longer than we anticipated and delayed the redesign sorry!

      We might have a preview version available by the end of the month that I could invite you to if you’re really hanging out for it (it will have bugs hah!)
