Gorelo Connect Notifications
Right now when connecting with Gorelo Connect, it just connects. No notifications on the end-user, no pop-ups, nothing. Currently we have Pulseway setup to require the end-user accept our connection and on time-out connect anyways. Once connected a chat window opens in the bottom-right to show we’re there and to chat.
Something similar with Gorelo would be extremely beneficial to us for our more sensitive clients.

Connection in progress banner can now be displayed when establishing a remote session (Windows and macOS). This can be enabled via your Gorelo Connect plugin.

🦄 Gorelo Connect plugin for macOS now supports end-user consent before launching a remote control session. This can be configured in Policies and allows auto-consent after a specified period of time.

Session indication in remote sessions
When connecting to our customers on a remote session, we’d like them to get a large banner or notification that we’ve connected (for at least 10 seconds), and maybe also an indicator afterward that the session is live. Our customers would not be happy if they couldn’t tell if we were on their machine or not.

You can now require end-user consent before GoreloConnect launches a remote control session. This can be configured in Policies and allows auto-consent after a specified period of time (macOS coming soon).

I concur. We have the same functionality setup in ScreenConnect with a notification requesting end user acceptance and then a timeout so we can still connect if not accepted/rejected. This is an essential privacy function for Gorelo Connect.
Even though Gorelo is releasing chat soon, I still prefer the notification and timeout rather than initiating a chat, waiting for a reply, then connecting. However, I do concede it’s less critical with chat support although it relies on the tech to be diligent with following procedures and is more prone to error.
