📱 Mobile App Overhaul (Rebuild & Redesign)
A great mobile app needs to be fast, reliable, and easy to read on the go.
We’re wiping the slate clean — a complete, ground-up rebuild of the Gorelo mobile app using our unified design language to finally give you an experience that matches the power of the web. This total overhaul allows us to address stability issues, drastically improve the mobile UX and roll in your top requests :)
(For transparency, the existing mobile app was always a stepping stone to get you connected while we built out the web platform. Now it's mobile's turn!)

📱 Gorelo Mobile — Rebuilt from the ground up
We rebuilt Gorelo Mobile from scratch to become the best mobile app in the space: purpose-designed for the conversations that can't wait until you get back to a computer. It's faster, smoother, and built specifically for mobile, giving you a polished support experience wherever you work.
This first release covers three core areas: Tickets, Alerts, and Notifications.
Up next: Search, Assets, Docs, Projects & Tasks, Clients, Contacts, and more.
Gorelo Mobile is rolling out through the App Store and Google Play now. If it isn't showing in your region yet, it should appear over the coming days.

Super early concepts but looking to get some feedback — let me know what you love/hate, what’s missing, what’s just clutter etc. :)

Myself personally, I would probably consider alerts a priority over notifications.
I reckon you should chuck the search button(magnifying glass) up the top right corner in between the + and … , that will then allow you to pop alert icon next to tickets which I think is important, alerts are supposed to alert us after all so they should be visible front and centre!
UNLESS, you are planning to merge notifications and alerts into one, which might actually be more sensible… because at the end of the day an alert really just is a notification which links back to an event instead of a ticket… I don’t see why from the UI perspective an alert needs to be treated differently to a notification until it is clicked.
Yea I actually think merging notifications and alerts is the most sensible option, which means you can keep search down below, my 2 cents shags.
Mikel from Gorelo
The bottom nav bar will be fully customizable so you can choose exactly what matters to you. Agreed though, I’d personally put Alerts, Notifications and Search on my main nav bar as that’s what I find important when on the move.
I’m sure this will be of interest to you :P

Yea definitely haha, sorely needed for those of us who migrate from the big pink S and have a habit formed. Ah nice yea if we can customise the bar then that’s optimal. I still think it’s worth considering putting alert notifications in notifications. Currently an alert sends a push notification, and yet it mysteriously doesn’t exist in notifications…. which gets confusing sometimes.

Would it be possible to set my status to ‘In the office’ when I’m connected to a specific WiFi network?

Are you planning on more Asset options this time around? Mobile RMM would be amazing and work well with your future plans of mobile GC.
Mikel from Gorelo
Yep absolutely

Looks good so far!
One big thing I hate with the current app, mind you - it is not the greatest - is the cross fade when switching between, just make it snap haha!
Mikel from Gorelo
Agreed — I’m also not a fan of useless animations haha :)

Improve Ticket Accessibility in Mobile App
While I know the mobile app is a lower priority than the rest of Gorelo, it would be really nice to be able to efficiently update/respond to/add time entries to tickets from the mobile app.

Gorelo Mobile
Gorelo Mobile is great when its synced. When onsite its amazing, not crucial to have the ticket information on my phone and being able to easily email within the same thread and input ticket time. However most the time the app is never synced. I’ve refreshed App Data and nothing populates. It would be an amazing asset.

We’re planning an entire rebuild for the mobile app :)

Mobile App Updates
Just wanting to keep a list of requests for the ongoing development of the mobile app.
Assets
Ability to run scripts and full CLI.
Gorelo Connect.
More system info (public IP).
Processes and Services (Closing tasks on the go is helpful).
Display Bitlocker, not copy.
Ticketing
Add CC to tickets when creating, not just after.
Application
Speed. Overall it's incredibly slow and lags.
Hope I'm not overstepping, just adding my thoughts. This would help us personally a lot.

Improving Ticket Experience in Mobile App
I know the mobile app is kind of on the back burner, but it would be amazing to be able to use the app the communicate efficiently on the app on tickets. Right now I use the app to see alerts on my phone but I need to get to a computer to do any kind of action or even respond easily. I find myself using Teams/SMS/Email to respond to tickets because it’s time sensitive and only have easy access to my phone. This would be a massive upgrade for my workflow at least.
Mikel from Gorelo
Completely agree. What are the absolute basics you’d expect when communicating on a ticket via the mobile app? We want to keep the experience as fast and functional as possible.
Aquamarine Pie
Thank you for the reply!
Absolute basics, just being able to respond to tickets (public and comments). Right now the UI is really messy and blocks all kinds of things. It also doesn’t load well on iPhones.
I’d also love to be able to easily tap a notification and have the app open that ticket, right now that doesn’t work.
Not necessary, but I’d love to be able to do time entries/products in the app. That way if I do something simple at someone’s desk I don’t need to bring out my laptop at all.

Audiable alerts for Mobile app
would be good, if there was a setting to enable audiable alerts for alerts, similar to how uptime robot gives alerts and makes an audio noise when something goes down
