Allow clients Gorelo Connect access to specific devices
One of the things that is stopping us from moving all devices from Ninja to Gorelo is Ninja’s ability to allow us to provide clients with remote access to specified devices via Ninja remote (at no per user charge). We have a number of clients that we have set this up for. It means that we do not need to configure VPN access for clients. With data now in Sharepoint, remote access is a great solution with easy management.
Are we able to get a similar setup in place with Gorelo Connect??
I would be willing to entertain a small, well miniscule!, per user monthly charge if that is what is needed to get it across the line.

It’d be great if this feature could:
Have the ability to allow users to connect to the first available machine, from a group of machines.
Allow us to force a logout/locking of the account when the user disconnects the session (or the connection is lost).
Have the ability to block transfers in and out of the session (so it is view and control only).
We have clients that hot desk, our current remote access tool allows us to select a group of machines and allow the user to connect to the first one not in use. It also allows us to force the user to be locked/logged out when they close the session.
We use this in these hot desk environments for work from home users who connect from personal devices.

Agreed. I only have a few people but it is essential for them (or their bookkeeper)

This is a must have for me as well. Most of my customers have at least one or two users that need remote control of their work PC. This also saves us from needing to set up VPN for one or two users, and ensures they are using the same secure connectivity platform we use.
It also allows us to create a vendor account on as “as needed basis” to get a specific vendor of a software platform access to the system they support, but making sure they can only get in through our tools.

I second this. This is one of two required things I need to move off of SuperOps. SuperOps uses Splashtop WFH for this, which is integrated into the same SuperOps end-user account that i used for tickets, etc.
If this could be done “for free” with a built in solution, great. Otherwise, having integration with Splashtop WFH might be something to look into, even with an extra fee as the fee is passed onto the end user anyways.

A couple of key points to this…
Access via Gorelo Connect is great for those that have dedicated machines.
Access via RDP to an assigned Terminal Server is a must. Essentially a ZTNA solution. Understand a companion app may be needed on the users device to execute this, perhaps part of the GoreloConnect client that gets installed already?
RDP access must support Microphone/Speaker passthrough, as well as Printers redirection.

Gorelo Connect for Clients
I would really like the ability to allow clients to be able to use Gorelo connect through the portal. I could assign which workstations they can log into remotely. This is currently an important selling point for my current RMM.

If the goal is for Gorelo Connect to replace ScreenConnect or Ninja Remote and similar remote access tools, then the ability to grant end user access to their asset(s) is a must.
It seems like this pairs well with the planned feature request to assign contacts to assets:

Also, having a web based interface would be ideal so they aren’t required to install any software on their device.
